Rainflower Project
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. You can find more information and resources on the NAMI website, as well as resources on our wellness pages.
The Rainflower Project is now on display at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Created by local ceramic artist Damien Wolf, it promotes positive mental health and suicide prevention. Wolf designed the art installation to honor people who have been affected by suicide, remember people who have died by suicide and acknowledge the survivors of suicide. Walk alongside 675 yellow and white ceramic flowers representing the average number of people who die by suicide each year in Minnesota. Using a green tag, you're invited to add the name of someone close to you to honor them and help increase awareness.
If you are a member of the Arboretum the exhibition is free, otherwise it is included with general daily admission.
