Community Garden - Kids Connection for April

Have you ever been a part of a community garden? People from all walks of life come together to grow plants, vegetables, and fruits. In a community garden, each person has a little plot of land. If one person doesn’t take care of their plot of land, it affects the whole garden. A community garden takes humility.

All April long in Kids Connection, we will be talking about humility. Humility is putting others first by giving up what you think you deserve. We will hear stories of Jesus’ last days on earth from Palm Sunday to Easter and a story from shortly after Jesus’ resurrection. Join us for Kids Connection in April to find out what it means to be humble.

We will not have Kids Connection on Easter, however, we invite kids to join us in the service that day for a kid’s message and to get an Easter gift from Chelsea after the service.

Community gardens are a beautiful metaphor for humility – a reminder that when we come together and put others first, amazing things can flourish. It's fantastic to see Kids Connection dedicating the whole of April to explore this important concept. The stories of Jesus' journey from Palm Sunday to Easter and beyond provide powerful lessons in humility. Count me in for Kids Connection in April, and I look forward to discovering more about what it truly means to be humble.
