MHC Mental Health First Aid Trainings

Mental Health Connect is excited to offer their first Mental Health First Aid trainings the next two weekends...AND they're looking for a few more people to round out the classes!

Adult MHFA Training
Saturday, August 16, 9:00 am - 2:30 pm

Youth MHFA Training
Saturday, August 23, 9:00 am - 2:30 pm

Trainings will be "blended courses" with some material completed online prior to the in-person training in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Commons. Registration is $30 and includes a light lunch and snacks. You can read more about each training opportunity below and on their website here.

Scholarships are available and, because of a recent grant, we're now able to offer free registration for all educators and school staff as well as MHC ambassadors and MHC collaborative members of mental health ministry teams! Contact MHC Lead Navigator Rachel Henderson for free new registrations or reimbursement for previous registrations.

Offering Mental Health First Aid Training has been a vision of ours, and this skills-based training is more important than ever. We encourage you to sign up and invite others in your faith communities (and beyond!) to register.
