September Wellness Focus: Intellectual Wellness
September. For as long as I can remember I have always loved September because it marks a new beginning. Many school years begin in September, and after collecting the pencils, crayons, folders, notebooks, and erasers needed for each year, it’s time to learn. September’s wellness focus is Intellectual Wellness, and what better way to tend to our intellect than to learn something new.
If you don’t know where to look for something new, or you’re unsure of what way to challenge your intellectual wellness, try taking or re-taking our Wellness Assessment. Not only will it give you clearer direction for our focus this month but for all six areas of wellness.
Try going to the library to get a new book, look up video tutorials on YouTube so that you can fix the bathtub faucet that has been in the back of your mind for months, or check out the Minnetonka-Hopkins community activity offerings. They’ve got something for everyone, all ages from infant to senior. We can’t wait to hear what new things you learned this month, and check out our Wellness Wednesday social media posts for more ideas.
