What is the Alpha Course?

The Alpha Course is a 12 week, non-religious, biblically-based course where small groups meet at the church to share a dinner, listen to a talk and then discuss the rational evidence for the amazing claims of the Christian faith. Many have found Alpha to be a great way to meet new people.

If You Could Ask God Any Question…

Alpha is a safe place to ask questions and explore Christianity. Many have found the course to be a great way to invite family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to investigate the Christian faith. The only homework in Alpha is to bring the questions that are on your heart. In Alpha, no question is too simple, or too controversial. The book "Searching Issues" written by Nicky Gumble, the author of the Alpha Course, answers the top seven questions people most often ask about the Christian faith. For example:

• Why is there so much suffering in the world?
• What about other religions?
• Is there a conflict between science and Christianity?
