Childhood Ministries

We emphasize the Four Keys to Faith Nurture, which encourage
that faith life begins in the home. The four keys are Caring Conversations,
Family Devotions, Serving Together, and Family Traditions. Below are some
of the ways that All Saints seeks to support faith growth in your life
and home.
Registration
Form for Preschool/K and Rotation Sunday School
Sunday School
Sunday School happens during the 9:30 a.m.
service from Rally Day (the Sunday after Labor Day) to Memorial Day (end
of May) for 3 year olds through 6th grade. If you would like to register
your children, stop by the office and fill out a registration form or
bring your child to the Welcome Center on Sunday morning. Please call
Penny Meschke at 952.934.3550, ext. 18 with your questions or comments.
Another component of our Children’s ministry is the Adventure series.
The Adventure program runs throughout the year and is designed for the
child and their parent(s) to experience together. The Adventures include
a Birth - 3 Adventure, 1st Grade Advent, 2nd Grade Faith in Family, 3rd
Grade Bible, 4th Grade Prayer, 5th Grade Communion and 6th Grade Mission.
Please check the Children’s Ministry Planning Calendar for specific
times and dates.
Rotation Sunday School
Rotation Sunday School has kids gathering
for kid-friendly worship and then “rotating” with their class
to one station for the rest of the morning where they will learn about
the Bible story in an active, creative way. Holy Wood station (drama),
the Garden of Eatin’ (cooking) and the Creation station (art) are
a few of the stations. There is a helpful brochure available which explains
the Rotation Model and invites you to consider how you can be a part of
this incredibly exciting ministry to our children.
Good News Bearers
Good News Bearers is a Bible reading club
for 2nd to 5th grade kids. We meet half a dozen times over the year for
fellowship and encouragement as each student works toward reading through
their chosen version of the Bible. Contact Penny Meschke for more information
at 952.934.3550, ext. 18.
Bible Day Camps
Summer time kicks off our exciting Bible
Day Camp (Vacation Bible School) for preschoolers and elementary kids.
Watch for information in January, or call Penny Meschke. Kids have a blast
learning about God through songs, skits, games and crafts centered around
an engaging theme.
56ers Ministry
This ministry is open to all 5th & 6th
grade youth. 56er’s meets monthly from September through May for
a time of food, games and a Bible story or an outing and fellowship. It’s
a great way to make a new friend. Meets Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Watch the bulletin and Scribe for specific dates.
